Mulher Fort in Satana, on a hill about two miles (3.21 km.) south of the Mulher town and 2,000 feet (609.60 metres) above the plain, lies at the head of the Mosam valley about forty miles (64.37 km.) north-west of Malegaon. The hill is half detached from a range which rises westwards till it culminates in Sather about twelve miles (19.31 km.) further west, The hill has three fortified peaks near one another, Mulher in the middle, Mora to the east, and Hatgad to the west.
The North-South stretch of Sahyadri originates in the Baglan region of Nashik. The North of Sahyadri, in the Baglan region, has got dual ranges, Selbari – Dolbari. Forts like Tambolya, Nhavigad, Pinnacles of Mangi and Tungi lie on Selbari range while Mulher, Moragad, Salher, Hargad, Salota lie in Dolbari range. These forts lie on the border of Dang region, a dense forest, in the West of Gujarat and Baglan region in Maharashtra.

This small hill fort is totally ruined by British army post 1857 freedom war. Now we find one water tank and Shiva temple. Every year there is big festival on this fort on occasion of Mahashivratri as per Indian calendar. The forts situated in this region are Sadashivgad, Dategad, Vasantgad, Gunvantgad and Machchindragad.Ways To Reach :-We have to reach Karad first. From Karad we have to reach Oglewadi village at 4 km, which is the base village. It takes around 45 minutes to reach the top of the fort.

Situated at an altitude of 3,000 feet above the sea level, Tringalwadi Fort at Igatpuri is an architectural marvel. Entire locale of Igatpuri is nested by the majestic Sahyadris and Tringalwadi Fort is also besieged by this stunning mountain ranges. Being in an elevated position, this massive fortress houses the picturesque scenery of the whole locality, especially the view of the peaks from this fort is incomparable.

Past Of Details:-
Although the exact period of construction of this fort is not known, however, by virtue of ‘Jain caves’ near the foothills, one can roughly estimate the fort to be in existence since 10th century. Also there is no evidence regarding the period during which it was under control of Marathas, however, during the year 1688; Mughals took control over the fort by perfidy.
